General Exercise For the Elderly

General Exercise for the Elderly" is an exercise programme specifically designed by physiotherapists of the Elderly Health Service, Department of Health for elderly who are able to walk independently outdoors without walking aids. This programme includes nine forms of exercises. The basic version does not require any exercise equipment and can be practised regularly to improve cardiopulmonary function, lower limb muscle strength, body coordination, balance and flexibility.
