Canned Food

              Despite the long storage period of canned foods, they should not be
          consumed frequently as they are usually high in sodium, sugar or fat. Before

          consumption, check the expiry date and see if there is any broken seal or
          bulging. Upon opening of the can, drain the salt water, syrup or oil inside to
          decrease the sodium, sugar and fat content of the food.  Then transfer the food
          to a container as the interior coating of the can, which serves to reduce the
          chemical reaction between the can and the food inside, will be oxidised upon

          contact with air and lead to food spoilage.

           How to Make Frozen Food Taste Better?
           • Add ginger juice;

           • Add wine (about 1 tsp)(e.g. Shaoxing wine or rice wine);
           • Add pepper;
           • Add lemon juice;
           • Blanch for around 1 minute.
