Mini Hamburger Patties
         (Serves 3, 2 pieces each)

          INGREDIENTS:                      METHOD
          • Minced beef      ½ lb. (~220g)  1. Remove the skin, rinse and dice the
          • Onion, large     ¼ piece (~50g)    onion. Use ½ tsp oil to sauté the
          • Egg, large       1 piece           onion, and then let it cool down.
          • Oatmeal (dry)    ¼ cup (~20g)
          • Vegetable oil    ½ Tbsp         2. Marinate the minced beef in a large

          MARINADE (for beef):              3. Mix in the oatmeal, egg, water and
                                               onion one by one to the minced
          • Salt             ½ tsp             beef.
          • White pepper     a pinch
          • Sugar            ½ tsp          4. Divide the mixture into 6 portions,
                                               and shape them into hamburger
                                               patties.
                                            5. Heat up the remaining oil in a non-
                                               stick pan.  Pan-fry the patties until
                                               both sides turn golden.  Then, add
                                               2 tablespoons water, cover and
                                               simmer until the liquid dries up.
                                               Ready to serve.
